Urbex – Rainbow Church

Abandoned church somewhere in the Netherlands. It seems to be the crisis for everyone, even for God. Here’s another of his houses left to decay, He left and shut the doors, but someone managed to open a way to the inside of the church…

I don’t know the reasons that led to the abandon of this church, maybe the lack of local believers, or maybe the infiltrations of water that are responsible for the rotting of this place. And I can tell you that there was a lot of water running along the walls. Is it the result of holes in the roof or maybe the water pipes were broken ? That remains a mystery to me, but it was really stinking moisture, and mushrooms were slowly colonizing the walls and the organ of the church. I didn’t liked that place. I can’t really explain why, sometimes you’ve got a good feeling with a place, and sometimes not. Usually, I’m enthusiastic with the exploration of churches, but not that time. Maybe was it a too modern church for me, it hadn’t the magnificence that have the older ones with real stone and columns and sculptures. It was just a plain brick church rotting in a corner of a small town…
