Abandoned hotel somewhere in Belgium. This decaying hotel has been built at the beginning of the 20th century. One century later, it is threatened to be demolished by a real estate agent.
The architecture of this hotel is quite unusual in the area, and that’s what makes it special. It was first used as an hotel, but later, it became a nursing home. Unfortunately for it, the nursing home moved away in more modern buildings and it’s been left abandoned since that time. I expected it to be an interesting exploration, but it consisted mainly of empty rooms. Seems like everything’s been moved to the new buildings and nothing was left behind. As I already mentioned it, this hotel is threaten to be demolished, but the people of the area are rising against this project and are trying to save it. Let’s hope these people will win their fight and that someone will find an interesting project for this beautiful old building.
