Abandoned factory somewhere in Belgium. So here’s another witness of the decline of the steel industry in Belgium, it is now slowly rusting and decaying, and no one seems to care about it anymore…
This building was also part of a bigger steel factory. All I know about it is that it was used for the coke. But I don’t know what it did with it, washing, stocking, or another use… The coke is obtained from coal and is used to melt the raw iron ore in a blast furnace. Anyway, I really did enjoy this place, even though I had to deal with my usual vertigo as it was quite a high building. It was a surprisingly colorful place, with orange and green tint. I’m always amazed to see colours in those old industries…
